This policy explains what personal data Skawen collects through skawen.com, why we collect it, who receives it and what rights you have. In short: we use your details to answer your enquiries, we pass a calculator request on to the Skawen representative for the country you choose, and we use analytics cookies only if you accept them. We do not sell personal data.

Messages from the forms are delivered by e-mail. The website itself does not keep a copy of them.
Who receives your data
- Skawen Group companies, when they are needed to answer your enquiry or deliver a project.
- Skawen representatives. A request from the savings calculator goes to the Skawen representative for the country you choose (for example Skawen Sweden AB for Sweden) and to Skawen’s sales team. Representatives use your details only to answer your request. All of them are in the EU/EEA.
- Service providers that process data for us under a data processing agreement: Elkdata OÜ (website hosting, Estonia), Google (e-mail, Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA) and Lead Forensics Ltd (company identification, United Kingdom).
- Authorities and advisers, such as auditors, when the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Google LLC may process data in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Standard Contractual Clauses also apply. Lead Forensics processes data in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission has recognised as providing adequate protection. We do not transfer your data to any other country outside the EU/EEA.
Cookies
We set only the cookies the website needs to work and to remember your choice. Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Videos and maps from other websites
Some news pages show a YouTube video or a Google map. When you open such a page, your browser connects to YouTube or Google, which receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- get a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted when we no longer need it or have no legal ground to keep it;
- restrict our use of your data;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing;
- receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing before that.
To use these rights, write to info@skawen.com. We answer within one month.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), www.imy.se, or to the data protection authority in your own country, for example the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, and our service providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website or our use of personal data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
