Recuperative Heat Recovery,
Matched to the Application
SKW Recu units can be configured as counterflow or diagonal heat exchangers, with a counterflow recuperator as standard or a suitably dimensioned cross-counterflow recuperator as an alternative. All units meet ErP regulations, with constant air volume control and active defrost management as standard.
- Optional adiabatic system
Adds evaporative cooling capacity where the project needs it. - Integrated DX, heat pump or reversible DX
Choose the cooling and heating source that fits the building. - Switchable temperature control
Change between constant return and constant supply temperature control.
Inside SKW Recu
Supply and extract airflows pass through separate ventilators and filters before exchanging heat across the recuperator — hover the markers on the diagram for the individual components.
How SKW Recu Works
Built Around Your Project
- Recirculation of exhaust and supply air with simultaneous constant mixing of outdoor air
- Controllable heat pump for energy recovery from the exhaust air
- Variable outside air volume flow for dehumidification with constant exhaust and supply air flow
- Heating register for reheating the supply air with low flow and return temperatures
- Temperature and humidity control
- Control cabinet mounted on the device or remotely on the wall
- Option: plastic heat exchanger
- Acoustically insulated panels for low acoustic levels
- Casing classification TB2, T2, L1 [M], D1 [M]
- Robust design with up to 30% lighter weight
- Duct connections on the side or on top, adjustable on site
- Data centres — stable supply air conditions for critical cooling loads.
- Large offices — efficient ventilation at scale with ErP-compliant recovery.
- Hospitals — controlled temperature and humidity for demanding indoor climates.
